Subject receivers’ approval

Subject receivers’ approval. This is an unusual restriction and can make the charter dependent on the cargo receiver’s approval of the ship in the discharging port.

The ship can fail to obtain the receiver’s unconditional approval for many reasons, including the flag of registry and the cargo handling equipment. It can take quite a long time to obtain the receiver’s -approval at the time of negotiating a fixture.
