Should a message sent when a ship is under attack by pirates be a distress message or an urgency message?

If, in the opinion of the master, the ship or crew are in grave and imminent danger requiring immediate assistance, the master should immediately authorise the broadcast of a distress message. (MGN 420, 2. 6)
