A Document of Compliance (DOC), issued to the Company, and a Safety Management Certificate (SMC), issued to each ship in the Company’s fleet. Each ship must carry a copy of the Company’s DOC. In certain cases an Interim DOC or an Interim SMC may be issued (see below).
