What is the proper name of the DSM Code, and who and what ships does it apply to?

The Safety Management Code for Domestic Passenger Ships. It applies to any company operating a UK passenger ship of Classes III to VI(A) and to any ship of those classes owned by it or for which it has operational responsibility.

Where can instructions and guidance about the DSM Code be found?

A DOC is withdrawn from a Company, e. g. due to major non-conformities. How will that affect the Company’s ships?
