What remarks concerning freight should appear on a bill of lading?

On a liner bill of lading, a statement “freight paid” or “freight pre-paid” (if this is true). On a non-liner bill of lading, the place where freight is to be paid (if not pre-paid), or “freight collect” or “freight payable as per charter party”. The amount to be paid may also be stated.
