When are intermediate surveys carried out in the HSSC?

Within 3 months before or after the second anniversary date or within 3 months before or after the third anniversary date of the particular certificate, taking the place of one of the annual surveys. (The shipowner or manager must decide in which year to have the intermediate survey carried out.)
