Waiver clause

Waiver clause. This clause appears as part of the “Duty of Assured” in the Institute Time Clauses (Hulls) 1983. The waiver section states:

“Measures taken by the Assured or the Underwriters with the object of saving, protecting or recovering the subject-matter insured shall not be considered as a waiver or acceptance of abandonment or otherwise prejudice the tights of either party.”
