What is an “arrived ship” (the first prerequisite for laytime to commence)?

A ship which has reached the required place (i. e. port or berth) under the terms of the charter party, and is fully at charterers’ disposal. (The charter party may allow her to become an arrived ship even though she is not in the port, in the berth, in free pratique, or customs-cleared.)
