What is a Multiple Ship Agreement?

An MCA-approved Crew Agreement relating to more than one ship, permitted under section 25(2)(b) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995. It can be used, for example, where an employer has several ships operating from the same port and needs to be able to employ crews flexibly on any ship during the term of the agreement.
