How is a CLC Certificate obtained for a UK ship?

Application is made to MCA Glasgow Marine Office, Greenock, enclosing documentary evidence of insurance (normally given by a certificate called a “blue card” issued by the ship’s P&I club or other security provider) and a fee. The MCA will issue the certificate.
