What are the main similarities between ISM and ISO 9002?

Both require documenting of:

(1) the Company’s organisational structure; (2) the responsibility and authority of individuals; (3) procedures and instructions for routine operations; (4) procedures and instructions for non-routine situations that may arise; and (5) procedures for internal audits and corrective action and review. The structure of a documented safety management system is not unlike the structure of a quality management system.
