What surveys are required for the radio installations of a UK cargo ship of 300 GT or more on international voyages in the HSSC?

(1) Before the ship is put into service, an initial survey of the radio installations (including survival craft radio installations); 

(2) within 3 months before or after each anniversary of the issue date of the Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate, a periodical survey; (3) within 3 months before the fifth anniversary of the issue date of the Safety Radio Certificate, a renewal survey (for issue of a new certificate); and (4) after any repair resulting from investigations following a report to the MCA or a proper officer of an accident or a defect affecting the safety of the ship or its LSA, an additional survey.
