Where might a UK ship be subject to a port State control inspection?

At any port or anchorage within the territorial sea of a State other than the UK which exercises port State control of visiting foreign ships, either as a member of a regional port State control regime (such as the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control) or unilaterally (as in the USA).
