What functions will the new Maritime Operations Centre at Fareham, and the standby MOC at Dover, discharge in the new Coastguard system?

The MOC at Fareham will discharge the operation of NAVTEX, SafetyNET and other GMDSS means of communications and will be the single point of contact for overseas MRCCs and all international SAR working. The Coastguard Centre at Dover will retain responsibility for Anglo-French liaison for CNIS, and will operate CNIS and Sunk VTS.
