Yes.
Evidence must be produced to the MCA of at least 3 months’ service (which need not be continuous) within the preceding 5 years on ordinary tankers, or at least 6 months on a storage tanker, barge or terminal in operations involving loading or discharging of tankers. If this evidence cannot be produced, the endorsement will be withdrawn.
