How can cargo insurance be arranged by a shipper?

Through his broker, contracting with:

(1) one or more insurance company underwriters; and/or (2) one or more underwriters at Lloyd’s. Alternatively, he could arrange insurance through a freight forwarder or shipping company offering insurance services. (Many liner carriers offer goods transit insurance as part of a package of services to shippers. )
