To immediately inform the master, safety officer or another competent person appointed under the Regulations (e. g. the company safety manager) of any matter which may reasonably be considered to represent a deficiency in the Company’s protection arrangements for the health and safety of persons on board.
Also, to immediately inform his employer, safety officer or other competent person: (1) of any work situation which he reasonably considers to represent a serious and immediate danger to health and safety; and (2) of any matter which he reasonably considers to represent a deficiency in the employer’s protection arrangements for health and safety.
