(1) Safety procedures for the ship and the crew associated with Ballast Water Management (BWM) as required by the Convention;
(2) a detailed description of the actions to be taken to implement the BWM requirements and supplemental BWM practices as in the Convention; (3) the procedures for the disposal of Sediments at sea and to shore; (4) procedures for coordinating shipboard BWM that involves discharge to the sea with the authorities of the State into whose waters such discharge will take place; (5) designation of the officer in charge of ensuring that the BWM Plan is properly implemented; (6) reporting requirements for ships as in the Convention.
