What are the general duties of a worker aboard a ship under The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) Regulations?

(1) To take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of any other person aboard ship who may be affected by his acts or omissions;Β 

and (2) to co-operate with any person (e. g. employer, Company or other) with any statutory duty or requirement relating to health and safety imposed on them, so far as is necessary to enable that duty or requirement to be carried out. (Reg. 21)
