What forms of on-board training must the master of a UK ship give to persons employed or engaged on the ship?

(1) Safety familiarisation training as required by Section A-VI/1.1 of the STCW Code, as amended in 2010, in the case of a person on board (other than a passenger) not possessing a valid PST certificate:

 (2) training in connection with life-saving appliances and fire-fighting equipment as required by The Merchant Shipping (Musters, Training and Decision Support Systems) Regulations, 1999, as amended.
